A brain dead Pinay in KSA donated her organs and saved seven lives.\n\n\n\nThis situation proved to us that giving help doesn't stop even in death, our sincerest condolence to the bereaved family. \n\n\n\nThe Director-General of the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ghunaim, stated that seven patients were saved by a brain dead Pinay in Al Khobar, thanks to her organ donations. \n\n\n\nAccording to Dr. Al-Ghunaim, the Pinay is in the emergency hospital and that it was declared brain dead by the doctor. All the procedure was done with the family's consent. \n\n\n\nDr. Al-Ghunaim added that they informed the Pinay's family about her situation and explained to them about the organ donation. Fully understanding the situation, the family agreed about it. \n\n\n\nAfter processing the necessary documents needed for organ donation, the doctors readily operated the brain dead Pinay to get her functional organs. \n\n\n\nThe organs that she donated were her heart, lungs, liver lobes for two patients, pancreas, and kidney. \n\n\n\nIt was reported that four to five operating rooms were simultaneously opened for the said organ transplant operation for seven patients. \n\n\n\nTakeaways\n\n\n\nAgain, we sincerely send our condolence to the bereaved family. Deciding on the life of one of your family members is difficult. We can only imagine the many things that the family thinks about before going through the donation. We don't know what made them decide to donate the organs of their family member, but we salute them for their braveness and kind hearts. \n\n\n\nWe are sure that the family of the saved-patients are also very thankful to them. Kudos to the Pinay and her family, they saved not one, but seven lives.
