An Overseas Filipino working as a receptionist and assistant supervisor of a certain spa in Kuwait was attacked and stabbed by a Kuwaiti customer.
According to the report, the incident was even recorded in four of the CCTVs of the spa.
According to the sister of the victim, when she narrated the incident to the Kuwaiti newspaper, two Kuwaiti customers came to the spa requiring services. However, the manager of the spa denies them any of the services they have as they were under the influence of liquor as per spa policy.
The two Kuwaiti customers did not like it and make a commotion. They throw the money on the victim’s face instead.
“They threw the money on my brother’s face and when he was about to pick it up from the floor, one of them grabbed him by the neck and punched him in the face causing a swollen eye and bruises to the face,” the victim’s sister narrated.
Both Kuwaiti customers left the spa after that in which the victim thought that everything goes back to normal again, and both men leave in peace. However, he did not expect what happened when he went to close the door. One of the Kuwaiti customers went back with a sharp object. The victim immediately noticed it and fought with the suspect. But the suspect was able to stab him on the upper part of his body. Even wounded the victim still fought with the suspect until the suspect retreated. The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital.
The statement of the victim’s sister matched the copy of the CCTV footage.
There is also no news if the suspects were already arrested. However, the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait promised the Filipino victim assistance. They also promised to help him file a case against the suspects. They also required the spa owner to appear before the embassy.
