Money In A Public Place

OFW Saudi Reminded Fellow OFW To Not Randomly Pick-up Money In A Public Place

An Overseas Filipino worker based in Saudi, Suante Agguirre posted on his Facebook timeline about his experience in regards to accidentally finding money in a public place.

According to him, this is a modus to set-up people who dare to pick up the money.

The incident

Suante stated in his post that the incident happened in a parking area in Saudi Arabia. He said that it was when he parked his car and got out when he accidentally saw a bundle of cash.

Though shock, Saunte did not mind the money and just continue to walk away from the area. Wondering about the unusual incident, Saunte keeps on glancing back in the area to where the money is.

Two men approach him

A short while, he was suddenly approached by two men. One is wearing a tube (Islamic clothing) and the other is like a Yemeni. They asked him if he had seen a money to where he parked. Saunte said yes, and told them that the money is still there.

Hearing his answer, the other one asked why he did not pick up the money. Saunte then asked them back as to why would he pick it up when the money is not his. The other then asked Saunte to let them see his wallet which Saunte strongly refused.

I know what you’re up to

The other one then threatened Saunte that they will call the police if he will not abide by them. Knowing what these two are up to, Saunte dares the two men to do so but they refuse to dial the police number. Saunte then told them that he will be the one to call the police. It was when the two men, walked away and picks up the money.

Saunte reminded his fellow OFW to be wary of their surroundings. And to not pick up money immediately if they ever find one in a public place.
