Who said that a domestic helper’s skill is only limited to cleaning the house and taking care of children? An OFW shows to us that they too have a skill that only a few has.
Alylia Grace Cabiza, a domestic helper in Kuwait shares her artwork in OFW KAMI SA GITNANG SILANGAN – (KAPIT BISIG) Facebook group with a caption, ‘Kadama sa umaga, artist sa gabi’.
A few of her artworks is the image of a Native American Indian, a reflection of a woman (with the face of a tiger on it), a peacock, a waterfalls scenery view and many more.
Many Facebook Netizens are amazed by her artworks that they encourage Alylia to sell them for added income.

We are glad to see a post like this and we hope to see more of this in the coming days. To all the domestic workers out there, don’t let your workloads swallow you up that you have no time to do what you like. Don’t limit yourself. Make time to pursue your passion just like Alylia did. Sleep is not the only solution to lessen your stress, doing what you like be it- singing, dancing, painting, writing is a great way to relax your mind and relieve stress as well.
