A Filipina OFW seeks help online as she stated that she is maltreated by her employer by locking her up in a room without electricity. A video was recently posted by Lesex Gavia Aivag on Facebook where a Filipina OFW is seen crying for help.
The OFW in question is Ginalyn Munez DeGracia, her Facebook account name is Nylanig Lynpan Dontjudme, she is from Tagbilaran City, Bohol. In the video, she is asking for help as she is being locked up by her employer in a certain room where according to her there is no electricity. She also said that her agent urges her to wait until her contract is over. Many in the comment section suggested that her agency is Placewell International Services Corporation. According to one comment by Tricia Ly,
“Okay na yan.. ng update na ang agent ng agency.. e rerescue nman sya kaso close pa yung agency dito sa Saudi.. dahil lockdown.. at naka usap na ni sir jojo ang employer nya na kukunin sya at hanapan ng panibagong employer” (It’s okay, the agency has updated the situation, she will be rescued but unfortunately the agency in Saudi Arabia is currently close as there is a lockdown being imposed, and Sir Jojo already talked the employer that she will be taken from her employer and will be employed in another employer).
According to Lesex Gavia Aivag, the employer of Ginalyn was mad of her as she asked her agency for help, the agency contacted her employer about what happens and why was she asking for help which angered the employer and proceeded to lock her up in a room.
