Bad treating Employer Refuses To Let Pinay Rests Despite Having Open Wounds On Her Hand

A sister of an OFW, Regie Mila Guiaman, shares about the pitiful situation of her sister, Kemarie Alab Guiaman who works as an Overseas Filipino domestic worker in Qatar. Regie said that even her sister has open wounds on her hand, her employer still demanded her to work.

Regie also stated how her sister was badly treated by her bad-treating employers. In a letter sent by Kimarie to Regie which Regie has shared, Kimarie confessed how she was being abused by her employer.

Said that her employer has been good to her during her first month. However, as the months go by, her employer’s attitude has changed and started to treat her badly. It turned out that the employer can not treat human nicely.

Some of the things that were done to Kimarie are:

  1. Accused of being theft. Kemarie’s employer accused her of stealing things that are missing in their household. She was also made to pay for those missing things, even without solid proof that she stole it.
  2. Things that got broken inside their household must also be paid by Kemarie.

The important documents of Kemarie (passport, etc.) was also confiscated by her employer.

In the post, Kimarie can be seen crying for help to her sister and to other Filipinos for her to be able to go home before her employer could do more harm to her. Regie also added that they had long asked help from her sister’s agency, JSL Interplacement Services, but the manager just told them that they will follow-up the situation. Regie asked for immediate help on behalf of her sister who’s mobile phone and money were now confiscated by her employer.
